Mobius was founded in 2005 by two sisters, Erica Ariel Fox and Amy Elizabeth Fox who were joined soon by their friends Alex Kuilman and Andrea Winder. Mobius quickly grew to be one of the leading incubators of a transformational approach to organizational development and character development for senior leaders. Mobius is built on an open source model of sharing ideas, best practices and learning amongst its global cadre of close to 300 practitioners and its client. Our interdisciplinary approach has brought together senior professionals from a variety of fields related to human capital including talent and human resource professionals, organizational development and industrial psychology experts, leadership and training faculty, executive coaches, mediators, interventionists and large group dialogue facilitators. In addition to these senior organizational experts we are privileged to include on our team members of the expressive arts from the domains of psychodrama, somatics, music and art, martial arts, dream work, theatre, and mindfulness and meditation. We have also built around us a consortium of practice to foster the sharing of emerging ideas and technologies for helping the human spirit to soar. Our alliance partners include, but are not limited to, McKinsey & Company, Egon Zehnder, The Center for Talent and Innovation, Action Design, Minds at Work, the Kantor Institute, Business Mediation Associates, Wealth Bridge Partners, Atkisson and Associates and Authentic Leadership Institute (ALIA and ALIA Europe). We are proud of these close collegial relationships and grateful for the fertile life of ideas we all enjoy together. In 2013 our President Erica Ariel Fox published our own thought leadership around the inner life of the leader in her New York Times Best Seller book, WinningWinning from Within: A Breakthrough Method for Leading, Living and Lasting Change.
With Winning from Within, as well our other transformational offerings, we are placing a stake in the ground that organizations urgently need strategies for developing the characteristics of ethical and mature leaders among their senior executives. We believe we have developed a unique body of programs, services and leadership immersions to support this type of personal transformational leadership journey and to do so with creativity, spirit, playfulness, and depth.
In late 2014, Mobius partnered with the global search firm, Egon Zehnder to offer a CEO preparation program called Executive Breakthrough which combines expertise in executive assessment with cutting edge curriculum for executive development. The Executive Breakthrough Program is led by a joint faculty from Mobius and Egon Zehnder and offered three times annually.
Finally, in the summer 2016 we launched the Next Practice Institute, which offers certification programs in Transformational Facilitation and Coaching, in house Facilitator Development Programs, an on-line practitioner portal and hosts an annual Summer Gathering for transformational professionals.
