Tara Kimbrell Cole

Tara Kimbrell Cole is a culture-change consultant, executive coach and organizational learning expert who brings her own business leadership experience as a chief executive, financial market innovator, and international entrepreneur to her clients. She has coached executives for over 15 years and is recognized for creating game‐changing initiatives that solve complex market challenges with systemic solutions.

Tara is a strategic thinker who facilitates the development of authentic leaders, senior management teams and customer-engaged cultures.  She focuses on the development of leaders’ personal mastery, collaborative capability, alignment of vision with learning and strategy, and systems thinking in the broader context of economic, environmental, social and corporate governance.

She works with executives in, and preparing for, top leadership roles by building their capacity for innovation and managing change, while optimizing business opportunities. Specifically, she is recognized for coaching women preparing for the senior-most levels of leadership. She has established coaching track records in banking, finance, FMCG, information and medical technology, business software, manufacturing, natural resources and mining, real estate and government sectors.

Tara has lived in Asia for over twenty-five years, enhancing her expertise in cross-cultural communication, cultural sensitivity and fluid environment navigation.

Throughout her twenty-year financial services career, she formulated and directed financial strategies, expanded customer bases, and commercialized intellectual property for the companies she led. She established trusted networks among leaders and policy‐makers in regional and international businesses across industries and government sectors. Following a successful finance career working in New York, Europe and Asia, she broadened that expertise with extensive education in organizational learning and professional development.

Tara is certified in Coaching from a Systems Perspective (Founding Society for Organizational Learning’s (SoL) Coaching Community of Practice), Solutions Focused Coaching, multiple 360‐degree Assessments, Skillscope® and Work Place Big 5, Influence Style Indicator, MBTI I&II and Firo‐B Administrator. In addition, Tara has the highest level of certification in the Hogan Suite of Assessments.

Tara is a board member of the Global Association of SoL Communities (Global SoL) and the Founding President and Board Chair of SoL (Singapore), an affiliate of the Global SoL.   Since 2007, she has been an approved consultant by the Council of Trustees of Founding SoL in Cambridge, MA, chaired by Peter M. Senge. Ph.D. and accepted in SoL’s Coaching Community of Practice. She is a member of Women Corporate Directors, the Society of Wharton Fellows and approved by the WBG International Finance Corporation for appointment as nominee director on the boards of their investee companies in Asia Pacific.

She has a master’s degree in Professional Development – Executive Coaching, Middlesex University, UK (2017), and was granted alumna status at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, (2002).

Tara is passionate about wildlife, tropical rain forests and scuba diving. A native of Manhattan, she has lived in the US, Singapore, Indonesia and spent extended periods of time in Europe and Africa.
