Alex Kuilman

A Canadian living in Geneva, Alexander co-leads the European practice for Mobius. He works as an executive coach, facilitator of transformation, mediator and culture change consultant across a broad range of industries.

Alexander has worked as an external facilitator and coach with a global professional services firm for the last 12 years, serving both internal and client facing needs. Within the firm, he works as a lead facilitator for several internal leadership programs, including the Centred Leadership Program, Centred Leadership Fundamentals, and the Personal Insight Workshop. He also works as a personal coach for many members of the firm in Europe, North and South America as well as supporting a number of CSTs. Alex and his team in London also support non-firm clients working directly with CEOs and top teams to help guide them in realigning and shifting their corporate culture.

In his previous career, Alexander worked as a litigator with the Canadian national firm of Heenan & Blaikie LLC. After leaving the practice of law, Alexander was an Adjunct Professor at Université de Montréal’s HEC and lecturer at McGill University’s Law School as well as guest lecturer with the Harvard Negotiation Project’s Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative.

Alexander earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from McGill University, his B.C.L. (civil law) from Université Laval, his L.L.B. (common law) from University of Western Ontario Law School. He is certified in Gestalt Organization and Systems Development, Kierson consulting (Executive Team Alignment), and is certified to use the suite of tools offered through the Values Center of Richard Barrett.

He is fluent in French and conversational in Spanish, and is learning more and more Dutch.

Alexander enjoys spending as much of his spare time with his young children, Theodore and Agnès, cooking, tending to the garden, biking, hiking and skiing and traveling to Amsterdam as often as possible.
