Alex Trisoglio

Alex has two decades’ global experience as a leadership adviser and executive coach, including nineteen years advising senior leaders at a global professional services firm and four years working with the CEO and management team at IFC/The World Bank. He also advises startup CEOs and their executive teams, and leaders of charitable foundations, non-profits and international organisations, including the Ford Foundation and the United Nations.

He is Adjunct Professor of leadership and organizational behaviour at UBC Sauder School of Business and lead faculty for innovation leadership programs at THNK School of Creative Leadership.

He was previously Adjunct Professor of leadership and organizational behaviour on the MBA and executive MBA programs in London and Copenhagen for five years, and he worked for IBM in London and New York in research and software engineering. He holds a US patent in computer science.

Alex also teaches meditation and Buddhist philosophy. He is trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction and mindful self-compassion, and he is a Khyentse Fellow and senior instructor teaching under the auspices of the Tibetan Buddhist master Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

Born and raised in England to German and Italian parents, Alex has lived in France, Switzerland, the United States and Canada. He holds a first-class degree in theoretical physics from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in leadership and organisational behaviour from the University of London, a NatWest Fellowship to London Business School and a Fulbright Fellowship to Harvard Business School. He lives in Vancouver, Canada.
