Amy Avergun

Amy has over 20 years of experience as an instructional designer and facilitator. She has developed and delivered training in the areas of leadership, teams, customer service, performance management, change management, sales, meeting leading, behavioral interviewing, and e-learning implementation. The target industries for these products and services have included financial services, retail, publishing, telecommunications, government, transportation, and manufacturing.

For many years, she was the Director of Product Development for Zenger Miller (now AchieveGlobal) and played an instrumental role in all phases of new product and custom development–needs analysis, design, development, pilot testing, delivery, train-the-trainer, evaluation, and launch.

She has a reputation for developing highly interactive, engaging, and entertaining learning experiences that stem from her ability to empathize with what’s truly challenging for people about their role or situation. Her current fascination is with the research that is emerging on how our brains work. As a result, she is on a mission to make organizations aware of the transformative and game-changing power of applying what science knows about how our brains work to the everyday challenges that businesses face.

Recent clients include KPMG, BP Oil, Authentic Leadership Institute, and Herrmann International.

She has a Masters degree in counseling psychology with a specialization in career development from New York University and a B.A. degree in English from Boston University.
