Audrey J. Lee is a consultant with Mobius Executive Leadership and the Principal of Perspectiva LLC and specializes in the design and implementation of corporate education programs in negotiation, communication, diversity, and professionalism.
Through her consulting experience, Audrey has facilitated workshops for groups as diverse as the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Deutsche Bank, Jenner & Block LLP, the San Antonio School District, Abbott, the University of Chicago’s Office of the Student Ombudsperson, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Since 2004, Audrey has been an instructor for the Harvard Negotiation Institute (formerly known as the Program of Instruction for Lawyers). As a member of the teaching team for the Basic Negotiation and Advanced Negotiation: Difficult Conversations workshops, Audrey teaches negotiation and effective communication skills to lawyers, judges, and business executives from around the world.
Audrey has extensive experience working with attorneys to develop their negotiation and communication skills. She has taught workshops for clients including Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Winston & Strawn LLP, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, as well as programs sponsored by the Practising Law Institute and the Chicago Bar Association. As a consultant for the Commission on Professionalism of the Illinois Supreme Court, Audrey designed and facilitated interactive CLE courses in the areas of professionalism, diversity, and civility used by the Commission as Model CLE Courses representing best practices courses. In addition to course design, Audrey helps teach and equip CLE providers with the skills necessary to facilitate interactive professional responsibility courses and has taught several Facilitation Workshops using the Train-the-Trainer approach. Audreyis also an Adjunct Professor of Negotiations at Northwestern University School of Law and DePaul University College of Law.
Audrey is certified as a mediator through the Harvard Mediation Program and the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago. She mediates a variety of cases and has represented clients in federal district court and local human rights commission mediations. As a mediation coach, Audrey has worked with law students, lawyers, mediators, realtors, and social workers.
Prior to her consulting work, Audrey practiced law as an intellectual property and litigation attorney at Winston & Strawn in Chicago and Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York. In her litigation practice, Audrey represented pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and fast food restaurant clients, while in her intellectual property practice, she negotiated advertising/marketing agreements, service provider contracts, and licenses on behalf of her clients.
Outside of her consulting practice, Audrey is an active member of community and professional associations. Audrey is President of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution, a volunteer for the Center for Conflict Resolution, and a violist with the Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Harvard College.
