Helene T. Roos is the President of HDA Consulting. Helene has been delivering coaching and consulting solutions to organizations for over 20 years. She began her career as an internal leader at Wang Laboratories, and has spent the last 18 years as an external consultant focused on leadership development. She is a recognized executive coach, and a creative and thoughtful leadership team consultant. Helene designs and facilitates leadership development programs at director and executive levels that yield tangible results in such areas as executive presence, team leadership, cross functional collaboration, presentation skills, strategic business focus, accountability and influence. Her professional passion is igniting self-discovery, personal growth, and the generation of purpose and meaning into the workplace as a way to create extraordinary results.
Helene’s coaching methodology is based upon the principles of Integral Coaching, focusing on the whole person – their internal experiences, their health and well being, the social system and the environment in which they operate. She begins coaching engagements with gathering data through either a 360 instrument or staff and peer interviews to identify coaching outcomes. Helene brings a pragmatic perspective with a bias toward practical solutions that truly create change, having discovered that working from “the inside out” is far more transformative and lasting than working first at the behavioral level.
Helene has coached clients ranging from emerging business leaders to CEO’s in the following companies: Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Genentech, Apple, VeriSign, Nike, PG&E, Hotwire, MySQL, Dust Networks and Yahoo. She received a doctorate in Psychology and Organization Development from the Massachusetts School Of Professional Psychology and she is a certified executive coach through New Ventures West.
