Josephine Schoolkate is the Interim Head of Coaching at Mobius.
She is a senior executive coach, facilitator, and consultant, and she is an expert in international strategy, leadership development, and leadership transitions. She obtained a Master’s degree in industrial engineering, with a major in organizational development, from Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands) in 1991.
After university graduation, she started in France a 15-year international career with Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI Inc.) a global diversified technology leader. During her international career at JCI Inc. Josephine had P&L responsibility for several large global automotive programs with reporting teams and key accounts spread around the globe. Her teams repeatedly negotiated and delivered very complex global programs to the full satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
In 2007 she joined the Institute for Management Development (IMD business school) in Switzerland where, as a member of IMD’s senior staff, she and her team were co-leading executive education partnership developments with IMD’s C suite clients.
Since 2013, she has worked as an executive leadership development consultant and coach. In Australia, she completed for the Graduate School of Business, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) a two year assignment on the topic “Leading in Complexity.” In Europe, she is working with Dr. Michael Watkins, author of “The First 90 Days” on Leadership Transitions and with Dr. George Kohlrieser, program director of IMD’s flagship program High Performance Leadership, on Secure Base Leadership.
Josephine is multi-lingual, has lived in 6 different countries, and has worked with a large variety of different nationalities, industries, and business contexts. She lives with her husband in Switzerland, near Zurich.
