Lee Jay Berman

Lee Jay Berman brings a diverse background to his work as an executive coach and facilitator. Beginning in 1994, Lee Jay’s studies took him through deep learning in conflict resolution and mediation, group dynamics and facilitation, neuro-linguistic programming and neuroscience, leadership development and executive coaching.

Lee Jay’s work has taken him on a path that began with growing up in a family business and ultimately being President of the company at age 24, to spending many years negotiating large land purchases for a Fortune 100 real estate development company. In 1994, Lee Jay left to pursue this work because he found that he most enjoyed the reward from helping others to achieve better self-awareness and peak performance.

Lee Jay recieved his economics degree from UCLA and pursued higher and deeper learning, studying negotiation and conflict resolution at Pepperdine and Harvard Law Schools and studying coaching and organizational dynamics with the Gestalt Center for Organization and System Development and the Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative, taking in everything he could in between from other courses, seminars and books.

He has enjoyed amazing opportunities for success with clients such as Nationwide Insurance, Children’s Hospital, Zenith Insurance, LexisNexis, Accountants Inc., and G4S International, in addition to working with partners at the largest and most respected consulting and accounting firms in the world. Lee Jay has also enjoyed working with non-profit organizations such as the Olive Crest Abused Children’s Foundation and the Hospital Association of Southern California. He has conducted trainings all over the United States, as well as in India, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia and have had groups flown to Los Angeles from post-war Croatia and Jordan to train with him.

As an executive coach, Lee Jay has often been retained to lead management teams, collectively and individually, through transitional periods and to maximize performance, specializing in areas of individual leadership, client relationship building, mentoring, team leadership, communication skills and conflict management.
