Lucy Fine

Lucy Fine, a Mobius Consultant and Executive Coach, is a seasoned executive coach with over 3 decades of professional experience. She began her career as a health practitioner in the roles of RN, midwife and team lead for health and technical projects. She also practiced for over 25 years as a psychotherapist and group facilitator. For the past 12 years she has coached individuals and teams toward high-performance and success. She has mastery in understanding the dynamics inside of decision-making and in understanding the emotions at play that contribute to team dynamics.

Lucy has coached leaders in global companies, healthcare, government and not-for-profit organizations, as well as in the national science laboratories. The foundation of her coaching is a system-centered approach to master difficult conversations and negotiate for clarity, accountability and commitment. Known for fostering emotional and collaborative intelligence, she provides a developmental map to guide interventions. Thirty years of martial arts and yoga practice offers Lucy a unique awareness to enhance embodied leadership and skillful presence.

Lucy has delivered large-scale workforce analysis and qualitative 360 leadership assessments utilizing survey tools and deep structured interviews; design and facilitation of strategic conversations and leadership retreats; led conflict resolution process for executive partnerships; and has led customized design and facilitation of team communication trainings and leadership development programs.

Lucy earned a B.A. from Antioch College, a B.S. in Nursing and Certificate of Public Health from UCSF, and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from JFK University. She was a fellow at SF State in Integrated Service Technology – a program to support wrap-around health services in the public school systems.

Lucy received her coaching certification as well as an advanced leadership development certification from the Coaches Training Institute. She is certified to use several evaluative tools to provide insight into the goals and aspirations of leaders, teams and cultures including the Leadership Versatility Index, the LeadershipCircle 360, the Enneagram and LjMap Values tool.

Lucy has served as an adjunct faculty member at UCSF School of Medicine, JFK University and New College. She was on the Board of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association and a longstanding member of System-Centered Training and Research Institute, the Northern CA Group Psychological Association, CA Marriage and Family Therapists Association and University of California SF Nursing Alumni Association.
