Tom Curren

Tom Curren, a Mobius Senior Consultant and Executive Coach, has successfully aligned top teams, improved strategy execution and shifted organizational cultures for over 20 years. He works primarily at the CEO and Division President level as a consultant, “thought partner,” coach and facilitator. He has done substantive work in media, oil and gas exploration, leisure products, health care, home building, financial services, retailing, travel and industrial products.

In addition to corporate work, Tom has helped a variety of non-profits and governmental organizations align their leadership teams, clarify strategy and take a comprehensive approach to performance improvements. His depth in both the “hard” and “soft” sides of business enables him to deliver an integrated approach to everything that impacts organizational performance.

Throughout the 1980’s, Tom served as the senior planning officer of Marriott International, helping the company grow from $1 billion to $10 billion. He served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, and as a Fellow at the McKinsey Change Center in New York, where he helped develop leading edge techniques to improve the implementation of major change initiatives. In prior careers, Tom served as a United States naval officer in the 1970’s.

Tom started a small electronics firm while receiving his MBA from the Wharton Graduate Division at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Boulder, Colorado and is married with a son and two daughters.
