Amy Rebecca Gay

Amy Rebecca Gay, PhD, is a transformational facilitator, mediator, coach and consultant who partners with individuals and organizations to increase their collaboration and work constructively with conflict. With over 20 years of experience, Amy Rebecca has designed and delivered trainings, facilitation and conflict resolution processes for small and large groups, coached individuals, and mediated a variety of conflicts. She brings a grounded presence to her work that that helps people find their voice, be the change and have impact.

As a transformational coach, Amy Rebecca works with senior leaders and executives to step into their unique leadership style, productively manage conflict and effectively have tough, strategic conversations while building strong business relationships. Amy Rebecca’s unique approach to mind-sets, somatic habits of attention and external skills help clients align their head, heart and gut so they bring forth all their resources when it matters most.

Amy Rebecca collaborates with Five Rhythms Consulting, The Mediation Group and UMass Boston’s Center for Collaborative Leadership. She has served as adjunct faculty at LeMoyne College, Syracuse University, UMass Boston, and Babson College School of Management.

Before becoming an independent consultant, Amy Rebecca was the product manager and trainer at Vantage Partners, a firm specializing in negotiation and communication skills and strategic relationship management for Fortune 500 companies. At Vantage, Amy Rebecca delivered one- and two-day workshops on negotiation, difficult conversations, influence, and change management to diverse clients, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Boston Scientific, Cisco, Deloitte, MasterCard International, Northrup Grumman, and Sanofi-Aventis, as well as corporations in energy, publishing, and consumer product manufacturing.

Amy Rebecca’s ability to be simultaneously vulnerable and fearless holds space for her clients to do the same, thus continually expanding their ability to create the results they want both in their professional and personal lives. She believes that the biggest challenges in work and life are often our greatest teachers. Amy Rebecca pushes her clients to fully step into their unique leadership and take bold actions in the world. With compassion for self and other, Amy Rebecca and her clients fearlessly jump into life’s lessons with curiosity, enthusiasm and grace.

Amy Rebecca did her undergraduate work in philosophy and political science at North Central College where she was a college scholar and Wingspread Fellow. She did her graduate work at Syracuse University where she earned a master’s in political science and a PhD in social science with concentrations in conflict resolution and women’s studies. She is a certified coach from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is almost always studying something. Her interests include yoga, meditation, shamanism and gardening, as well as spending time outdoors with her family. She resides in the Boston area with her spouse, two daughters and rescue dog.
