Beth MacDonald

Beth MacDonald, a Mobius Consultant and Executive Coach, is a facilitator, trainer, consultant and executive coach. She works frequently with the American Management Association, Training Works, and Human Capital Development and develops and delivers programs in global leadership, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, creativity and innovation. Beth also currently works at Brave Design, an industrial and graphic design consultancy, providing clients with insightful design services for graphics, products, corporate/brand identity and design strategy. Her vision is to create new wealth by unleashing the creative energies of organizations.
Prior, Beth spent five years serving as a member of the Board of Directors at PSI Asia, Inc., initiating overseas expansion and exploratory programs in creativity and biofeedback. She serviced local and multinational corporations, government agencies and the public with seminars for leadership development. For close to 20 years, Beth held various high level positions within The Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region with a focus on research and development, innovative marketing and strategy. She was responsible for expanding several categories in key markets, and most notably initiated a new paradigm for packaging as a critical element of product design and consumer communication, later creating a model for using design as a key element of product development. Throughout her career at J&J, Beth held several management positions and was responsible for large staffs of technical resources located across the region in many different countries. She succeeded to drive growth of sales in her categories using innovative systems of regional technical interdependency to shorten lead times, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
The list of programs Beth has designed and developed is extensive including Leadership Development for Middle Managers, The Science of Creativity, Leadership and Emotional Intelligence, The Dance of Leadership, Masterful Facilitation – all at PSI Asia, Inc.; Fitness for Change at AMA Asia/Pacific; and People are the Key to Leadership at Human Capital Development. She has also delivered programs at AMA Asia/Pacific including Preparing for Leadership, The Voice of Leadership, 5-Day MBA: Strategy, Management, Marketing, Emotional Intelligence, Thinking and Planning Strategically, Strategic Planning, Planning and Managing Organizational Change, Moving from Operational Management to Strategic Leadership, People Management, Interpersonal/Cross-Cultural Communications and Global Leadership Development Program & Action Learning as well as others.
Beth holds a BS with Highest Honors in Textile Design and Engineering from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. She is awaiting thesis for a masters of science in Leadership, Dynamics of Organization from the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled in the facilitator certification program at the University of the Philippines via a joint program with the Univeristy of Kassel, Germany. Beth has completed extensive training in personal development programs including the Landmark Forum, L. Albert Executive Coaching, Center for Creative Leadership Development Program, Leadervision Neuro-linguistic Programming and Training Dynamics, Spiral Dynamics SDI Levels 1 & 2, Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence, Level 1 in addition to many leadership and job enhancement programs hosted by her employer.
Beth’s personal interests are extensive and diverse with the connecting thread of introspection and human development including Arnis, Tae Kwondo, Boxing, Ballroom Dancing, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Photography, Creative Cusine, Research into the impact of sound on the human psyche, the study of the creative process, the study of meditation techniques including still, moving and biofeedback.
