Hiro Takeda has a passion for helping people grow and develop by changing their mindset in a positive way so that the transformation will be sustainable without having rebound.
Hiro is a certified coach for ICF, International Coach Federation, Immunity-to-Change coach by Robert Kegan of Harvard, and Gallup’s certified strength coach. He provides a wide range of services for talent development including executive coaching, culture transformation workshop facilitation, team coaching, and leadership training.
Hiro also works as a Senior Advisor for Gallup which provides a wide range of talent management services in the area of hiring, strength-based talent development, and employee engagement.
In addition, Hiro serves on the board of directors for Japan Positive Psychology Association which is the NPO in Japan representing the International Positive Psychology Association.
Previously, Hiro was a partner at Egon Zehnder, a leading global firm for executive-level talent management consulting, for 16 years, leading the Industrial Practice Group in Japan. During this time, he obtained a broad expertise in the recruitment, assessment and development of CEOs, and other executive-level managers in a wide range of industries. His client base included major multinational companies, mid-cap and family-owned businesses, and private equity firms.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Hiro had a successful career at a leading Japanese trading firm in their aerospace division including as managing director of their aircraft operating leasing business in Ireland, and manager of the aerospace department of their US subsidiary.
He holds an MSc in Management/Sloan Masters Fellow from the London Business School, a BSc in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated from the Civil Aviation College of Ministry of Transport in Japan.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Junko and three children, in addition to playing soccer and baseball with his friends.
