Mary Drake is a somatic and energy coach and bodyworker.
Mary’s focus is on leadership, transformation, growth and wellbeing. She walks with clients to help them evolve and grow towards what it is they care most about. She combines timeless practices with contemporary approaches in order to help her clients navigate toward more purposeful, fulfilled and productive lives. Mary approaches her work from the position of holistic innovation; combining best practice from the corporate landscape, the healing arts, somatics, executive coaching and the wisdom traditions. Her work helps clients to align and better access the mental, physical and emotional energy needed to focus on their goals.
Mary is guided by a philosophy of inter-connectedness. She seeks to nourish and connect interdependent parts in order to evolve and grow the whole person. Connecting and nourishing the mind, body and spirit, Mary treats each person and their wider world as one connected whole. She focuses on nourishing this vital connection between the mind, body and spirit – something often overlooked in today’s fast-paced digital world.
She co-creates solutions with her clients that are truly bespoke to their unique challenges, needs and ambitions. By connecting purpose with actions she helps build the appropriate scaffolding around and within clients. Mary is highly intuitive, creative and passionate about working through, and with, the greatest tools available to each of us: our bodies and our energy.
Mary has studied somatic coaching, bodywork, polarity and energy work with Master teachers around the world. She brings these practices into her coaching and through them helps clients develop deeper levels of cohesion, confidence and energy.
Mary has held regional, country and global roles in HR business partnering and talent management, and has worked extensively across the European, Asia-Pacific, South African, North American and Latin American markets. Mary’s executive coaching and leadership assessment and development experience spans consulting, financial services and manufacturing. She has worked with global leadership and executive teams, senior and junior talent pools and CEO successors.
Mary has spent long periods of time working and living in Australia, China, Japan, South Africa, Switzerland and Ireland. She enjoys dance, words, visual arts, music, creative projects, exploring the world and the healing arts.
