Philip Ebert

Philipp, a German native, is a leadership development professional based in St. Louis, Missouri. He serves his clients by designing and executing custom leadership programs, facilitating transformational change, and by working as an executive coach with select individuals.

Philipp’s approach to leadership development combines evidence based insights from the fields of neuroscience, positive psychology, behavioral economics, and leadership theory. He has extensive experience in working with leaders in life science, medical and engineering careers in Europe and the US, but also serves technology start-ups and financial institutions.

In his previous career, Philipp worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in Zurich. At McKinsey, he specialized in strategy, operations, and organizational topics, the latter including transformational change management, cultural change, leadership development, and strategic HR management.

Philipp holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and a Master‘s degree in Industrial Engineering as well as a supplementary degree in Applied Cultural Science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He is an ICF certified coach and further certified to administer The Leadership Circle assessment and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Philipp is fluent in German and English.

Philipp is married and proud owner of a 2 year old Boxer-Lab mix that ensures he stays fit. In his free time he serves on the Board of United 4 Children, a local non-profit organization that educates child care staff in low-income neighborhoods. His true passion is tennis which he plays regularly, ambitiously, but without noteworthy success.
