Previously, Vijay spent 21 years with Ogilvy & Mather in various leadership positions. He has lived in Mumbai, Bangalore, Singapore, London, and Hong Kong, working with major corporations and leading brands around the world. His last assignment was on Ogilvy’s Asia-Pacific Board as Regional Strategy Director, overseeing Corporate Strategy, Account Planning and Talent Development/ Training for 20 countries across Asia.
Vijay has been a guest lecturer at many business schools, including Indian Institute of Management, Indian School of Business, JamnalalBajaj, S.P. Jain, Symbiosis, Xavier Institute of Communications, MICA and Sophia Polytechnic. He serves as Adjunct Faculty on the WholeFoodsMarket Academy of Conscious Leadership and other global training/ leadership consulting organizations.
He (and his wife, Nilima) also counsel and conduct retreats for people recovering from serious illnesses, based on his personal encounter with cancer in 2001. Their book My Cancer Is Me: The Journey From Illness to Wholeness, was published in 2013, by Hay House.
